1. Description
MENG SHAN 934-65.65 – (1,65 мм) is a cold applied tape coating system designed for the corrosion protection of field joints, fittings, and specialty piping. This system is universally specified in the oil, gas and water industries. Also adhesive make it the ideal repair system for all types of main line coatings MENG SHAN 934-65.65 tape with very tacky adhesive has a release plastic liner to enable proper unwinding of the roll. It could be applied after the primer by hand or with a wrapping machine.
2. Structure
The specification of the tape MENG SHAN 934-65.65 consists of three layers:
adhesive layer, base film and anti-adherence substrate. Adhesive layer is made of a mixture of bitumen and butyl rubber, as well as from adhesive resin. The base is made of specially mixed stabilized polyethylene. The substrate, designed to prevent the coils from sticking together, is made of a siliconized film.
3. Features
